Orange and Hemp Protein Donut Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup gluten-free flour
  • ½ cup corn flour
  • 2 tbsp polenta
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp hemp protein powder
  • ½ cup soy milk
  • Juice of 1 orange
  • Zest of ½ an orange
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 350 F
  • In a bowl, mix together the dry ingredients a: gluten free flour, corn flour, polenta, salt, sugar, and hemp protein powder
  • Whisk with a wire whisk and add in the soy milk, orange juice, orange zest and vanilla extract
  • Place the mixture in donut baking pans and bake for 17 minutes or until a toothpick can be cleanly removed
  • Remove the donuts and let them cool slightly
