Oatmeal and Chia Protein Cookie Recipe


  • 2 teaspoons chia powder
  • 4 tablespoons water
  • 1 ¼ cup white or integral wheat flour
  • 1 cup oat flakes
  • ¼ cup orange juice
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • ⅛ teaspoon nutmeg powder


  • Preheat the oven to 350 F
  • Pour the water in a small bowl and add the chia powder.
  • Mix the oatmeal and the flour in a large bowl
  • While mixing, add the hydrated chia and the orange juice
  • Then add the sugar, nutmeg and orange zest
  • Knead everything until you obtain a dough that can be handled with your hands Form flattened dough balls and place them on a previously buttered and floured baking sheet
  • Bake for about 10-15 minutes or until golden brown
