Chocolate Hazelnut and Chia Protein Bar Recipe


  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 cup coconut flakes
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • ½ cup light brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons chia protein powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup melted vegan butter
  • ¼ - ½ water
  • ½ cup dried cranberries
  • 3 oz. dark chocolate (for coating)
  • 2 tablespoons hazelnut crunch (for coating)
  • 1 tablespoons cocoa powder (for coating)


  • In a bowl, add the almond flour, coconut flakes, cocoa powder, brown sugar, chia protein powder, vanilla, melted vegan butter and dried cranberries
  • Add in the water and mix to create a soft dough
  • Spread the dough in a small square pan and let it set in fridge for about 45 minutes
  • Melt the dark chocolate and spread it over the protein bars
  • Sprinkle the bars with hazelnut crunch and cocoa powder
  • Slice the bars as desired
