Chocolate Chip and Chia Protein Muffin Recipe


  • 1 cup ground almonds
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons chia protein powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • ½ cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 3 tablespoons melted vegan butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup vegan chocolate chips


  • Preheat the oven to 350 F
  • In a bowl, mix the ground almonds, cocoa powder, baking powder, chia protein powder, pinch of salt and dark brown sugar
  • Mix in the almond milk, vegan melted butter, vanilla extract
  • Using an ice cream scoop, place the batter into the well-greased muffin cups 
  • Sprinkle chocolate chips on top of each muffin
  • Bake the muffins into heated oven for about 15 minutes
