Chocolate and Chia Protein Cake Recipe


  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1 cup coconut flakes
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons chia protein powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • Caramel sauce


Preheat the oven to 350 F

In a bowl, mix all of the dry ingredients: almond flour, coconut flakes, baking powder, cocoa powder, chia protein powder and salt
In a second bowl, mix the almond milk, light brown sugar, vanilla extract and vegetable oil
Add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and mix until thick batter forms
Place the batter into well-greased spring form pan and bake it for about 35-40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean 
Let the cake cool at room temperature, then drizzle caramel sauce on top to each slice as desired
