Apple and Hemp Protein Cake Recipe


  • 3 freshly grated apples
  • ½ cup ground walnuts
  • 1 cup coconut flakes or coconut flour
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons hemp protein powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons sugar


  • Preheat oven to 350 F
  • In a bowl, mix the grated apples, ground almonds, vegetable oil, sugar and cinnamon
  • Add in the coconut flour or flakes, baking powder and hemp protein powder, then mix
  • Pour the mixture in a prepared square pan that is well greased with oil
  • Bake for about 30-40 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean
